Better than shopping: Friends are what really count.

"After years of living in the city, I assumed that if my friends and I ever got our fairy–tale endings, that would be the end of the story, but real life always has a twist." So goes Carrie Bradshaw' teaser for the long anticipated Sex and the City movie, in theaters May 30. And as curious as we are to see what the twists may be–and how everyone will dress to deal with them–what we're most excited about is, quite simply, that our girls are back. Not that the four years since the series' finale have been devoid of on–screen sisterly solidarity. Still, there are no better, or hotter, poster children for female friendship than Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda. Just like women everywhere, the fab foursome has shared life's ups and downs– dating; job stress; kids; marriage; and yes, cancer–and come out on top. We can't think of a more fitting way to spend girls' night out this month.
