While she may appear focused and serene on camera, in person this woman explodes with energy, passion and fun. It is easy to feel envious of her students, who benefit from her in-person instruction!

Jaclyn Bachor
After working with an off-the-shelf Pilates tape for just five minutes, instructor Jaclyn Bachor knew that Pilates was a practice she wanted to pursue for a lifetime. She became more serious in her study by enrolling as a student with Romana's Pilates, the leading international insitute for classical Pilates instruction, where she earned her certification. She returns to the studio as both a teacher and a student to continue her education in depth. A professional equestrian for 25 years, teaching and training riders at all levels. Bachor was New York State Champion and Region Field Hunting Champion. Jackie's other athletic activities include rollerblading, yoga, running, weight training, and boxing.

Joana Meneses
Joana Meneses is an International Instructor-Trainer for Stott PilatesTM and a Master-Trainer of the cardiovascular/core fusion of WillPower&graceTM. Joana's education began in Theatre and Performing Arts, and in 2000 she continued her background in movement at the Stot PilatesTM International Training Centre in Toronto, Canada.

Joana's expertise includes anatomical and biomechanical training, including injuries, rehabilitation and special populations. Upon succesful completion of the Full Stott PilatesTM Certification program, Joana was chosen to represent Stott PilatesTM at the Contrology Studio in Bermuda and in 2001 invited to become a Stott PilatesTM Master-Trainer. Joana has taught extensively worldwide, including South Africa, Brazil, Bermuda, Puerto Rico and all over the United States and Canada. Born in the Acores, Portugal, Joana is proud to have taught certification courses for Stott PilatesTM in three different languages. Currently, Joana conducts certification courses both internationally and in New York City for Stott PilatesTM method and for WillPower&GraceTM. Head of a Pilates program in NYC Joana maintains a private clientel and teaches Pilates fusion and WillPower&GraceTM classes for Equinox NY.
